By downloading or using Planet Of Tales, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Planet Of Tales (operated by Dheeraj Kumar).
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Planet Of Tales mobile application ("App"), our website at planetoftales.com ("Website"), and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child who will use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Planet Of Tales is an AI-powered children's storytelling application that allows users to scan real-world objects, select story characters, and generate personalised illustrated and narrated stories for children. The Service includes both free and premium subscription features.
3. Eligibility and Parental Consent
The App is intended for use by children aged 3–10 under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. By creating a profile and using the Service, the adult user confirms that they are at least 18 years old, have full authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of any child using the Service, and will supervise the child's use of the App.
4. User Accounts and Profiles
The App creates a device-linked account to save your story library. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any profiles created. You agree not to share access with unauthorised individuals. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload or scan images containing nudity, violence, illegal content, or any content harmful to minors; attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the App or its underlying AI systems; reproduce, distribute, or resell AI-generated stories for commercial purposes without written permission; use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; or impersonate any person or entity.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Planet Of Tales offers Premium monthly subscriptions. Pricing starts at ₹299 per month in India for 2 stories per day, $9.99 per month in the United States for 2 stories per day, and equivalent local pricing in other regions where available. Price may vary by country, currency, taxes, platform, and app store rules.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel anytime through your Apple ID subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Purchases are subject to the refund policy of the platform used for purchase. We do not control Apple or Google refund decisions.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Free Tier: The free tier includes a limited number of story generations. No payment information is required for free tier use.
7. AI-Generated Content
Stories, illustrations, and narration are generated by artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any specific purpose. AI-generated content may occasionally contain unexpected or imperfect results, and parents should supervise their child's use of the App and the stories generated.
8. Intellectual Property
The Planet Of Tales app, brand, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by Dheeraj Kumar and are protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated stories created through the Service are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may save, print, and share stories with family members but may not sell, republish, or commercially exploit them without written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to our privacy practices.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Planet Of Tales and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though these Terms shall survive termination where applicable.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
